1981 Yamaha XJ750 900CC
(Featured 29th May 2013)
Registration: GFB 422W
Sellers original description:
This is a unique motorcycle.
Originally registered in Japan.
Simular rolling chassis to uk's XJ650, but in Japan XJ750E.
Differences are cc and electronic rev counter on this model and oil cooler, uprated rear suspension and front brakes.
This bike was subject to an article in UBG magazine.
Has gelled seat for comfort. The bike originally had a kph clock with just under 6000 on it and in 2001 was given a mph speedo.
Bike has been displayed at japanese bike shows in stafford and has only covered 74 extra miles in 2008 and now shows 288 miles.
Paintwork is in extremely good order and is generally very tidy, not perfect as no bike which is over 32 years old and in use from time to time can be.
The engine has been uprated to 900cc with dynojet carb kits and k&n air filters fitted, dynoed in the past at 120bhp.
A real wolf in sheeps clothing.
Surprises many a superbike.
